The magic has begun

Toutefois live music first recorded song!

The days before summer are passing by really fast. The not so hot or not so cold weather, we could say the best moments of the year :), were by our side, spoiling us with the most interesting ideas, and finally succeeding to finish the last details of our first song: Eve on the hill (Seara pe deal).

Eve on the hill is an old Romanian poetry written by Mihai Eminescu,  one of the greatest poets of mankind, with a modern sound. The song draws a nice picture of a rural landscape at sunset of men and animals return home as wind and long-flutes are heard in the distance.

Unleashing the power of creativity, we exposed on Spanish rhythms and classical harmonies our vision concerning one of the most famous poem of Mihai Eminescu.

  1. Sara pe deal buciumul sună cu jale,
Turmele-l urc, stele le scapără-n cale,
    Apele plâng, clar izvorând în fântâne;
Sub un salcâm, draga, m-aștepți tu pe mine.
  2. Luna pe cer trece-asa sfântă și clară,
Ochii tăi mari caută-n frunza cea rară,
Stelele nasc umezi pe bolta senină,
Pieptul de dor, fruntea de gânduri ți-e plină.
  3. Nourii curg, raze-a lor șiruri despică,
    Streșine vechi casele-n lună ridică,
Scârțâie-n vânt cumpana de la fântâna,
Valea-i în fum, fluiere murmură-n stână.
  1. Dreary the horn sounds in the eve on the hill,
Sheepflocks return, stars on their way twinkle still,
Watersprings weep murmuring clear, and I see
Under a tree, love, thou art waiting for me.
  2. Holy and pure passes the moon on the sky,
Moist seem the stars born from the vault clear and high,
Longing thine eyes look from afar to divine,
Heaving thy breast, pensive thy head doth recline.
  3. Clouds drift along, rent by the moonbeams asunder,
Cottages raise old roofs at Moon`s orb to wonder,
Sweeps of you wells creak in the breeze of the gloaming,
Smoke wraps the vale, pipe-songs from pens go a-roaming.
